K-DRAMAS

Korean dramas are wide ranged, with many genres such as action, historical, school, medical, legal, thriller, romance and so much more!

What makes them unique? Different from any other dramas? K-dramas have an entrancing storyline, amazing acting that helps build emotional connections between the characters and the audience, and beautiful cinematography.

K-dramas that are trending right now on apps like TikTok include ‘King the Land’ starring Im Yoon-ah and Lee Jun-ho and ‘See you in my 19th Life’ starring Shin Hye-sun and Bo Hyun-sun. Episodes from both come out every Saturday and Sunday.

Popular k-drama actors and actresses consist of:

-Cha Eun-woo in True Beauty, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Island, etc.

-Kim Se-jeong in The Uncanny Counter, Today’s Webtoon, Business Proposal, etc.

-Nam Joo-hyuk in 2521, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, Start-Up, etc.

-Park Bo-young in Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, Doom at your Service, Abyss, etc.

Now, there are some k-dramas I would like to recommend! These are Revenge of Others, 2521, King the Land and True Beauty. The reason I have recommended these is the fact that each episode is captivating, and the storyline is one that will make you want to continue watching. You should definitely make a start on watching them.

There are also many more upcoming k-dramas. Some of these are ‘When the Stars Gossip’ coming out in 2024, ‘The Uncanny Counter 2’ coming out in July 2023, and ‘Whirlwind’ coming out in 2024.

The question is – where can you watch all these k-dramas, and with English subtitles? There are lots of places such as HiTV, ViKi, Hulu and Netflix. However, with Netflix, not all the k-dramas you may want to watch will be on there, so k-drama apps would be a better option.

As you can see, k-dramas have a lot to offer: numerous genres, magnificent camera work, exceptional acting and an amazing storyline. If you’re bored and don’t know what to watch, this is the perfect option.

So, do you think you want to watch a k-drama after reading this article?
